Bandwidth...Is Self-Care the Answer?

Published on: 4th June, 2023

What do we do when we feel like we get to the point where we feel like we're D O N E? How can we step away? Recharge? The podcast is out and about into the world and Linda and Jill are experiencing a slight bump of bandwidth complexities. Join us alongside your pile of washing if you need to as we chat about:

  • Cranky mother syndrome. How hard can it be to fix that lawnmower? Find a sock? Even getting up with the sunrise can present its own challenges.
  • Hitting rock bottom and our experiences with burnout, depletion, the loop of low bandwidth and a little conversation which helps us be upfront and honest with ourselves.
  • Linda's dead plant. The reflective parallel of that said plant and bandwidth problems...

We invite you to check in on your own bandwidth today because these conversations are here to shift and shake us into change. If you have any further thoughts, we would love you to reach out to us.

About the Podcast

Mucked Up My Self-Care Podcast
Real, Raw and Unedited Conversations From Two Global Moms/Mums
A podcast for moms about the real, raw, and unscripted perspectives of guilt-free self-care by two moms across the globe. This unedited podcast is real life and their personal experiences told in friendly conversation style. Advocating for all moms who have mucked up their self care.

There are so many others out there that aren't successfully solving the real problem of trying to figure out what self-care is. We want to bring to light the reality of what self-care can look like for moms who struggle to fit it in, don't know what will work for them, and the ways that it hasn't worked. We want to have conversations about the guilt we feel when we are pressured to mother ourselves when we don't know how and aren't given the support to in our society today.
