100% of Me - Division Between Self-Care and You

Published on: 13th August, 2023

Can we actually switch off? No, we’re not chatting math or multiplication today, however we are talking about how we are being divided up. Jill and Linda often feel the pull in ALL the directions and like peeing in peace is a luxury that has long gone! Tune in for another episode as we touch on:

  • When things are broken and wanting to tantrum when you’re feeling all the pressure of being divided into tiny little pieces.
  • Experiences of when our head is half here and half elsewhere.
  • What happens when we leave the front door? How much of us is being left behind or diverted by meal planning, sleep routines, school forms and more.
  • Bandwidth. Ohhhhh bandwidth and division of our self-care.
  • When it feels easier to just do it ourselves.
  • Working from home as an entrepreneur.
  • Nourishing tasks and how they help us with our own self-care.

We would love to hear from you, it always encourages us to know you are listening along!

About the Podcast

Mucked Up My Self-Care Podcast
Real, Raw and Unedited Conversations From Two Global Moms/Mums
A podcast for moms about the real, raw, and unscripted perspectives of guilt-free self-care by two moms across the globe. This unedited podcast is real life and their personal experiences told in friendly conversation style. Advocating for all moms who have mucked up their self care.

There are so many others out there that aren't successfully solving the real problem of trying to figure out what self-care is. We want to bring to light the reality of what self-care can look like for moms who struggle to fit it in, don't know what will work for them, and the ways that it hasn't worked. We want to have conversations about the guilt we feel when we are pressured to mother ourselves when we don't know how and aren't given the support to in our society today.
