Places of Self-Care Enjoyment (Ways We Can Unstuck Our Muck)

Published on: 19th May, 2024

What are your favourite places of enjoyment and self-care? In this podcast place today we have many little voices joining us and we are talking about places of self-care enjoyments and ways that we can unstuck our muck. Listen in as Jill and Linda talk about:

  • Getting time alone vs the need for quiet. Linda had quite a time finding a place that wasn’t filled with people and things and all the rest of it for her sticky note day.
  • What we desire for our self-care and why that matters. Are we being fussy? Or simply aware of what is missing and seeking solutions?
  • We check back in with some of our top 5 self-care activities and remember why we love a quiet afternoon or getting outside to put our feet in the grass.
  • When we push ourselves a little out of the comfort and into new places of enjoyment we perhaps hadn't thought of before. Alternatives and solutions.
  • Acceptance and shifting to places of enjoyment different to that previous to children.
  • Figuring out our priorities and also emotional spaces and places that keep us tracking along.

It’s a jam-packed episode and one which we feel is definitely an enjoyable one. We have been sharing self-care ideas throughout our episodes and if you would like to find out more, we would love you to reach out to us at muckedupmyselfcarepodcast@gmail.com.

About the Podcast

Mucked Up My Self-Care Podcast
Real, Raw and Unedited Conversations From Two Global Moms/Mums
A podcast for moms about the real, raw, and unscripted perspectives of guilt-free self-care by two moms across the globe. This unedited podcast is real life and their personal experiences told in friendly conversation style. Advocating for all moms who have mucked up their self care.

There are so many others out there that aren't successfully solving the real problem of trying to figure out what self-care is. We want to bring to light the reality of what self-care can look like for moms who struggle to fit it in, don't know what will work for them, and the ways that it hasn't worked. We want to have conversations about the guilt we feel when we are pressured to mother ourselves when we don't know how and aren't given the support to in our society today.
