Confidence in Self-Care

Published on: 21st April, 2024

Are you confident to say that self-care has a place and space in your daily life? It can be hard to admit that we need more. Hard to admit we are mucking up and often we know that progress takes one step at a time. Come and join in our discussion as we think and talk about:

  • The correlation between toilet/potty training and confidence.
  • How have we grown our self-care confidence.
  • Why realistic expectations help!
  • Knowing what we like (and don't like) when it comes to self-care.
  • Having conversations with others about what self-care is and what it means to us.
  • Practice, practice, practice.
  • Keeping an evidence file.
  • Not setting yourself up for failure - gather your options and sprinkle them in your calendar, while practicing flexibility.

For more ideas when figuring out how to grow your confidence when it comes to self-care please send us an email, we put together some activities from when were just starting out with self-care.

About the Podcast

Mucked Up My Self-Care Podcast
Real, Raw and Unedited Conversations From Two Global Moms/Mums
A podcast for moms about the real, raw, and unscripted perspectives of guilt-free self-care by two moms across the globe. This unedited podcast is real life and their personal experiences told in friendly conversation style. Advocating for all moms who have mucked up their self care.

There are so many others out there that aren't successfully solving the real problem of trying to figure out what self-care is. We want to bring to light the reality of what self-care can look like for moms who struggle to fit it in, don't know what will work for them, and the ways that it hasn't worked. We want to have conversations about the guilt we feel when we are pressured to mother ourselves when we don't know how and aren't given the support to in our society today.
